Al-Tagheer TV, 31 July 2014- Police said Shiite militants executed 15 Sunnis and hanged them from street poles in a town northeast of Baghdad.A police officer from the site of the incident in Baquba said this city has a mixture of Shiites and Sunnis, and it is believed that the goal of this measure was to force Sunnis out of mixed cities. The victims are individuals abducted last month, and they were shot in the head and chest and hanged with wires. This officer said militant forces are not allowing medical teams bring down the bodies hanging from street poles, adding these militants have started using a new tactic, keeping the bodies hanging for a long time to terrify the Sunni community. They were asked to allow the bodies be brought down up but they refused.
